Golf activities are open for all participants, family members and guests of
the conference.

La Paloma Golf Course |

The SBC Scramble - Thursday afternoon 1pm onsite at La Paloma Golf Course. The scramble format is designed both for the serious and not so serious golfers. Cost will be $90 per player which includes prizes, green fees, cart & practice balls. Mulligans will be available again this year. Trophies will be given to the top team in the SBC Scramble.
The SBC Open - Friday afternoon 1pm also on the property at La Paloma Golf Course. Cost will be $90 per player which includes prizes, green fees, cart & practice balls. Golfers will be playing their own ball on this course and different flights will be assigned based on your handicap. Mulligans will be on sale again this year. Flight champions will also receive awards in the SBC Open.
Clubs can be rented for $40.00 which includes shoes, if needed. Please pay for the rental clubs at the course on your own.

An unnofficial event - Saturday afternoon 1pm at the La Paloma Golf Course. This event can fill 3-4 foursomes but need to know well in advance. Fees will be paid individually at the course. Please contact Doug Smith ASAP dcsmith@siu.edu if you are planning to play. Contact Doug only for this event. See above for other event payment.
Those wishing to play golf prior to the meeting (Monday-Wednesday) should contact the course in advance. Identify yourself as a member of the Spring Brain Conference for special rates. You may also contact the Golf Chair, Doug Smith (dcsmith@siu.edu) to see if/when other groups are playing.
